Hello, and welcome to Unique Blessings Learning Center! My name is Unique Johnson, M.Ed., Ed.S., and I am honored to serve as the Director and Owner of this vibrant learning community. Alongside my husband, Timothy Johnson, M.Ent., we bring a shared passion for education, faith, and intentionally empowering young minds to grow, learn, and thrive.

 

About Unique Johnson

​

With over 20 years of experience in early education, my journey has been shaped by a deep love for guiding children and supporting families. I began my career in 2015 by opening my own home child care business, providing a nurturing environment for children to thrive. In 2019, I served as the Interim Director at Atlantic Christian School in New Jersey, managing a program with over 140 children.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, concentrating in Education, Family Consumer Science, and Psychology, along with certifications including a Child Development Associate, Staff Credential, and Director’s Credential from the Florida Department of Children and Families. My educational journey has also included a Preschool and Child Care Management Certificate from Polk State College and a Preschool Certificate from Hillsborough Community College.

In December 2021, I graduated from Hillsborough Community College’s Educator Preparation Institute, earning my Florida Teaching Certification. I later completed a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Early Childhood Education (ECE) Leadership, along with a Graduate Certificate in Teacher Inquiry.

I am currently pursuing an Educational Doctorate (Ed.D.) through Liberty University. As part of this journey, I successfully earned my Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree, marking the halfway point of my doctoral studies. I am continuing toward completion of the Ed.D. with a focus on strengthening educational leadership and research-informed practice.

Since 2013, I have also served as a Children’s Pastor, and I am a proud veteran, loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished sister and daughter. Spending time with my family is one of my greatest joys, and it fuels my passion for creating a supportive environment for the children at Unique Blessings Learning Center.

About Timothy Johnson

​

My husband, Timothy Johnson, is an integral part of our center’s mission and vision. With a strong background in child advocacy and education, Timothy has worked with the Department of Youth and Family Services and the Department of Children and Families, gaining extensive experience supporting children and families in a variety of settings. Since 2015, he has also worked in schools along the East Coast, further deepening his understanding of education, youth development, and community-based support.

Timothy holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Studies and a Master of Arts in Entrepreneurial Studies, which equip him with both a people-centered and systems-focused approach to leadership. In addition to his professional and academic background, he has served as a pastor since 2011, guiding individuals and families in faith, purpose, and personal growth. His compassionate heart, strong leadership, and commitment to uplifting young people make him an invaluable part of our team.

At Unique Blessings Learning Center, we are dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Together, Timothy and I are committed to helping every child reach their full potential while building strong partnerships with families.
