Hello, and welcome to Unique Blessings Learning Center! My name is Unique Johnson, M.Ed, and I’m honored to serve as the Director and Owner of this vibrant learning community. Together with my husband, Timothy Johnson, we bring a shared passion for education, faith, and empowering young minds.

 

About Unique Johnson

With over 15 years of experience in early education, my journey has been shaped by a deep love for guiding children and supporting families. I began my career in 2015 by opening my own home child care business, providing a nurturing environment for children to thrive. In 2019, I served as the Interim Director at Atlantic Christian School in New Jersey, managing a program with over 140 children.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, concentrating in Education, Family Consumer Science, and Psychology, along with certifications including a Child Development Associate, Staff Credential, and Director’s Credential from the Florida Department of Children and Families. My educational journey has also included a Preschool and Child Care Management Certificate from Polk State College and a Preschool Certificate from Hillsborough Community College.

In December 2021, I graduated from HCC’s Educator Preparation Institute with my Florida Teaching Certification. Most recently, I earned a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, specializing in Early Childhood Education (ECE) Leadership, along with a certificate in Teacher Inquiry. I am currently pursuing my Educational Specialist degree (Ed.S.) through Liberty University, with plans to complete it by the end of 2025.

Since 2013, I have also served as a Children’s Pastor, and I am a proud veteran, loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished sister and daughter. Spending time with my family is one of my greatest joys, and it fuels my passion for creating a supportive environment for the children at Unique Blessings Learning Center.

About Timothy Johnson

​

My husband, Timothy Johnson, is an integral part of our center’s mission and vision. With a rich background in child advocacy and education, Timothy has worked in the Department of Youth and Family Services and the Department of Children and Families, gaining extensive experience in supporting children and families. Since 2015, he has also been employed in schools along the East Coast, further deepening his expertise in education and youth development.

In addition to his professional work, Timothy has served as a Pastor since 2011, where he has guided countless individuals in faith and purpose. His compassionate heart, leadership skills, and dedication to supporting young people make him an invaluable part of our team.

Our Mission

At Unique Blessings Learning Center, we are dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Together, Timothy and I are committed to helping every child reach their full potential while building strong partnerships with families.
